Fire element - one of the five elements or forces of nature. The Chinese call it "wu xin". A more accurate translation from Chinese would be the concept of “five energies,” since in essence the elements represent five natural forces.
According to Taoists, these energies constitute the “essence” of the five forces or elements, symbolizing fire, earth, metal, water and wood.
A person has a full set of these elements. In a certain sense, it represents nature in miniature and is a natural microcosm. The five elements are found in the five main internal organs of man: the heart, spleen, lungs, kidneys and liver. Interaction with the internal organs and the balance of the five elements is carried out using the “six healing sounds” and “front line of the inner smile” exercises.
In a normal newborn baby, the five elements are balanced. With age, imbalance occurs and depending on the severity of this imbalance, a person suffers from various diseases. Taoists are convinced that a person’s emotional state is determined by the balance between the five elements, which in turn is controlled by the state of the five internal organs.
From the book you will learn how to interact with the elements and negate their negative impact. Each of the five elements symbolizes one level of universal energy known as the Great Elemental Force. The elements are the material from which the fabric of the universe is woven. Let's start with the element of fire, which represents the prosperous expansion of nature. The heart is the “repository” of the fire element. By mastering the “third treasure” exercise, you will train your heart to find the corresponding element.
Before studying the next exercise, I would like to make some conceptual clarifications. In each of the five main organs there is a “gathering point” for the corresponding element, which is a sphere with a diameter of about 7.5 cm. The “gathering point” is of mental origin and accumulates both the elemental energy (qi) of the organ and the excess energy of the body.
The heart-fire “gathering point” is located in the center of the sternum at the level of the thymus gland and corresponds to the element of fire. When energy rushes into this center, it expands and begins to emit radiance.
