Some organs are such that if a wound appears on them, the harm is very great, and in most cases it kills, although occasionally it does not kill. These are, for example, the bladder, kidneys, brain, small intestines and liver, although if the wound is light, the person can survive. As for the heart, then if a wound occurs in it, one should not expect salvation. Most people with a stomach wound die when they experience nausea, hiccups, and vomiting.
If the wound is in a place where there should be severe pain and swelling, for example, on the heads or ends of the muscles, especially muscles rich in nerves, but the swelling does not form, this indicates damage hidden in the depths, to which all the juices rush, so there were none left for the wound. You should pay attention to what we said in the paragraph about ulcers regarding the qualities common to ulcers and wounds; we partially transferred this here, striving for the greatest convenience of presentation.
