Properties:

Application:

I'm always on the lookout for a cleanser that suits both my sensitive and problematic skin. One fine day the choice fell on this remedy. This is a gel with a light pleasant smell and pearlescent particles. From it, I primarily expected cleansing and the absence of discomfort after washing. If we talk about the latter, then yes, the product does not dry the skin at all and does not irritate it. If we talk about cleansing, then there is none, or rather, I don’t feel it, and even more precisely, I don’t feel washed after using it. What helped me use the tube to the end was that removing my makeup is a separate step. Ultimately, the gel was relegated to the rank of “morning wash”, and upon completion, the tube was thrown away without regret. I will not blame the La Roche-Posay brand for the fact that the product is not of high quality, because it is not. It just didn't suit me. I can safely recommend the gel to girls with dry, sensitive skin, but if, like me, you periodically suffer from rashes and oily shine, then it is better to look for a stronger product.

A cosmetologist recommended this gel to me when it was spring and my skin began to give surprises every day - it would either be covered with small pimples, or peeling would begin, in general it was unclear what, or an allergy or irritation.
I used it for 3 months, after a week my face returned to normal. The application of this gel is difficult because it does not foam well, its smell is neutral, one might say absent. After washing, there is no feeling of clean skin, I always want squeaky clean, but I can’t say that the feeling after it is not pleasant, there is no feeling of tightness, it feels as if immediately after washing, a moisturizer has already been applied.
The sensations are contradictory, I think it’s ideal for those who have dry skin, but with my combination skin I didn’t have enough cleansing, but at a time when the skin for some reason becomes very sensitive and dryness predominates, it’s simply irreplaceable!

Cleanses gently and well.

I started using it at a time when my combination skin became reactive and dehydrated. I have a copy for super sensitive normal/combination skin. Creamy product of white-pearl color with a neutral odor. Almost no foam. It perfectly cleanses the face of makeup and copes even with mascara without any complaints. This gel was recommended to me by my cosmetologist on the day when I first came to her with my problem skin. It was then that I learned that my oily skin was also very sensitive, and at that time it was generally very dry and dehydrated. Then I washed off both makeup and general impurities with a cleanser, and the gel did a “4” job of combining these two functions. Now I use it only after removing makeup with micellar water, and in this capacity I can safely give it a round “5”. The gel is absolutely comfortable, relieves beauty, irritation and dryness, cleanses skin secretions and impurities. It washes off well with plenty of water. The product does not clog pores (mine are deep and enlarged). For one use, a gel the size of a 1-ruble coin is enough.
Packaging: regular plastic tube with a snap cap. When stored vertically, nothing leaks. The consistency is moderately thick, it does not foam too much, but I really like it, especially since it is not declared as a gel foam. The smell characteristic of this line is present, but it is very weak and does not bother me. 1 tube lasts me more than six months. The last time it cost about 900 rubles.
Do I recommend: many times yes! Especially for sensitive skin, especially in winter. I always recommend only those products that I have used for a long time and more than one package at a time. My favorite cleanser! Very economical. A small drop is enough for me to wash my face, which I thoroughly beat between my palms and apply the resulting foam to my face.
It just saves my sensitive skin, because before, after washing with water and other products, I often developed allergies, and washing my face at night without water for me is like going to bed in slippers. The gel is very gentle, soothes the skin, sometimes there is a feeling of tightness, But this happens to me with all the means, it goes away quickly.
I didn’t remove my makeup with it, I use another product after makeup remover, so I don’t know how to cope with this task. But it cleans, if not squeaky clean, then very well, yes, it does not moisturize and soften, but rather cleans and soothes.
I’ve been using it since May of this year (in the summer twice a day, the rest of the time, mostly at night) and it seems to me that there is still at least one third left! I have never had such an economical washbasin before. It leaks a little from the lid, so I store it lying down.

Economical, foams well.

I have combination skin - normal on the cheeks and prone to oily skin on the forehead and nose. The skin is sensitive, prone to redness, irritation and dehydration.
The gel cleanses the skin well (I always wash off my makeup with milk first). Prevents pores from becoming clogged and inflammation occurring. But after washing, I always felt a strong feeling of tightness - it dried my skin so much that after washing I wanted to run for cream.

No advantages found.

Very disappointed with the product. Dries my combination skin too much. It even feels tight in the T-zone. It doesn’t foam very well, and accordingly, it is quickly used up, contrary to the reviews I’ve read. After washing, it doesn’t feel very pleasant on the face. I didn’t notice any improvement in the condition of my pores, and it has absolutely no effect on blackheads. Even store-bought L'Oreal cleansers outperform this pharmacy series.

Taking care of your skin.

Insufficiently deep cleansing, rapid consumption.

I used Toleran gel to cleanse my combination, oily skin during the cold season. The gel really did a good job of non-aggressively cleansing the skin without causing discomfort after use in the form of tightness, dryness or irritation.
The plastic tube closes tightly and is suitable for transportation. The fragrance of the product is pharmaceutical, unobtrusive, noticeable only during washing. The gel is moderately liquid and forms a gentle foam upon contact with water. I used this product as the 2nd stage of skin cleansing, after removing makeup with micellar water. I applied it to damp skin, having first foamed the gel in my palms, massaged it gently for a minute, rinsed it off with water and wiped my face with Physio tonic of the same brand. After washing with Toleran gel there is no discomfort, the skin is soft and not at all tight. The product cleanses the pores, but not as deeply as I would like, so I doubt that its cleansing effect would be enough for me in conditions of elevated temperatures. But in winter, the skin looked decent, without being upset by excessive oiliness, clogged pores or inflammation. There was also no irritation/flaking.
In case of accidental contact with the eyes, the gel did not sting or cause irritation to the mucous membrane.
Due to its thin consistency, the product was used rather uneconomically - in 2.5 months the tube was empty. I will repeat the purchase only in case of a strong increase in skin sensitivity from frost/cold wind, since I still prefer deep cleansing washes, with which I feel 100% cleansing of even the deepest pores. Gel "Toleran" can be an excellent help for those with skin with a tendency to dryness and/or an increased tendency to irritation.
