Dupuytten's abscess (carbuncle) (or parasitic Dupuytren's bursitis) is a purulent inflammatory process in the subcreatal volvulus of the skin of the hand, which forms along the terminal branch of the medial cutaneous nerve of the wrist in the area of ​​the first and second interphalangeal joints. This disease is widespread, often occurs with blurred clinical manifestations, and its diagnosis is possible only in the case of a pathognomonic clinic that requires pathomorphological examination.
