Adjuvants. Incomplete adjuvant effect
***Incomplete adjuvant effect*** is a discrepancy between the maximum magnitude of the therapeutic effect from doses of the drug at higher concentrations (in excess) than the optimal therapeutic one. With a full adjuvant effect, the therapeutic effect increases in parallel with an increase in the concentration of the reagent.
As a rule, most pharmaceutical drugs are characterized by a significant concentration of the free (macromolecular) part of the active substance (DS) on the surface of suspended particles. Such a suspension is a multiphase system consisting of a liquid dispersion medium (if we are talking about the preparation of an aqueous dosage form) and microorganisms suspended in it.
