Akulinicheva Pyramid System

The Akulinichev pyramidal system is a method for diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases, developed in the mid-20th century by the outstanding Soviet cardiologist Ivan Tikhonovich Akulinichev (1915-1992).

The main idea of the method is an integrated approach to the diagnosis and treatment of heart pathologies. Akulinichev identified three main levels (pyramids) of impact on the patient’s body:

  1. The pyramid of physiology is the correction of disturbances in the functioning of individual organs and systems with the help of drug treatment, physiotherapy, and exercise therapy.

  2. Pyramid of Psychology - working with the patient’s psycho-emotional state, relieving stress and anxiety.

  3. The pyramid of philosophy is the formation of a positive worldview in the patient, taking responsibility for his health.

Akulinichev believed that only an integrated approach at all three levels can achieve a lasting therapeutic effect. His technique was introduced into the practice of many clinics in the USSR and made it possible to significantly increase the effectiveness of treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Currently, the principles of the Akulinich pyramidal system are relevant and used by leading cardiologists.

Akulinicheva pyramidal system (Akulinicheva P.S.) is a concept proposed by Soviet cardiologist Irina Timofeevna Akulinicheva in the 1980s. It is based on pyramid theory, which describes the relationship between different levels of organization and management in an organization.

Akulinicheva's pyramid system consists of three levels: strategic, tactical and operational. Each level has its own tasks and functions, which are aimed at achieving a common goal - improving the health and well-being of patients.

At the strategic level, the main goals and directions of the organization’s activities are determined. At this level, decisions are made about what services will be provided, what resources will be used, and what methods will be used to achieve the goals.

The tactical level is responsible for the implementation of strategic goals. This defines the specific tasks that must be completed to achieve the overall goal. At this level, planning, control and coordination of the work of all departments of the organization is carried out.

The operational level is responsible for the direct implementation of tasks assigned at the tactical level. At this level, all day-to-day operations associated with the provision of health care services are carried out.

Thus, Akulinicheva’s pyramidal system is a hierarchical structure that allows you to effectively manage an organization and achieve your goals in the field of healthcare.
