Alopecia Scarring

Scarring alopecia is a rare non-traumatic disease, which is characterized by the gradual replacement of skin areas (in some cases along with hair) that are subject to constant irritation, infiltrative-suppurative formations and secondary degeneration of hair without subsequent scarring. It occurs as a result of various exogenous and endogenous causes.

According to the time of development, early (juvenile) and late (mature) are distinguished.
