Composition: Active substance - Amlodipine.

Indications for use: Arterial hypertension, stable and vasospastic angina (Prinzmetal), including in patients resistant to therapy with nitrates or beta-blockers.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity, arterial hypotension (less than 90 mm Hg), shock, acute myocardial infarction. Restrictions on use: severe aortic stenosis, heart failure, liver dysfunction, children's age (safety and effectiveness of use have not been determined).

Side effect:

  1. From the cardiovascular system and blood: facial skin flushing, palpitations; rarely - rhythm disturbances, chest pain, hypotension (including orthostatic).

  2. From the nervous system and sensory organs: fatigue, headache, dizziness, drowsiness; rarely - fatigue, asthenia, mood changes, visual disturbances.

  3. From the genitourinary system: peripheral edema (swelling of the ankles and feet); rarely - increased frequency of urination, impotence.

  4. From the gastrointestinal tract: nausea, abdominal pain; rarely - dyspepsia, change in bowel habits, jaundice.

  5. From the respiratory system: rarely - shortness of breath.

  6. From the musculoskeletal system: rarely - arthralgia, myalgia, paresthesia and pain in the extremities (with long-term use).

  7. From the skin: rashes, itching, rarely - erythema multiforme.

  8. Other: rarely - gingival hyperplasia, gynecomastia, increased levels of liver enzymes.
