Angio

Angio is a word of Latin origin meaning blood vessels. This name is commonly used in medicine and science to describe all types of blood vessels, including arteries, veins, capillaries, etc.

Many people are confused, believing that angio is an artery. However, the correct term is angioma. An angioma is a benign tumor inside a blood vessel. These tumors can be dangerous and cause various diseases, especially in children.

Angiogenic factors are substances that stimulate the formation of new blood vessels in the body. These include hormones, vitamins, bacteria, viruses, drugs and plant proteins. Activation of these factors can lead to the development of angioma, as well as various skin diseases, such as rosacea, vitiligo, dermatitis and others.
