Angiomatosis of the Retina

Retinal angiomatosis is the pathological proliferation of newly formed vessels that feed the eye in large numbers, and the formation of foci of connective tissue, which is localized between the blood channels. The retina, the inner layer of the eye, also undergoes pathological changes.

The etiology of angioma is similar to other vascular disorders of the organ of vision: - progression of hypertension; - atherosclerosis of the vascular wall;

Retinal angiomas are congenital pathologies that arise as a result of underdevelopment of blood vessels in different parts of the visual organs.
