Antibotulinum serum type A is an immunobiological drug intended for emergency prevention and treatment of botulism caused by Clostridium botulinum toxin type A.

Dosage forms:

  1. suspension for intramuscular administration 10,000 IU in 1 dose in an ampoule

The serum is administered intramuscularly after preliminary administration of 0.1 ml of the drug subcutaneously to exclude an anaphylactic reaction. The recommended dose for adults and children over 12 years of age is 20,000-100,000 IU, for children under 12 years of age - 5,000-20,000 IU.
