Article: Radial Circumflex Artery (A. Circumflexa Radialis)
The radial circumflex artery (lat. arteria circumflexa radialis) is a small artery of the forearm. It arises from the radial artery and bends around the radius from the lateral side in its middle third.
It supplies blood to the muscles located along the artery, as well as the periosteum and bone marrow of the radius. Has anastomoses with the interosseous artery. The variability of branching is quite high.
