Aspermatism False

Aspurmentum dubium - false aspergillus. This species of Asporgyl is a good illustration of the problems that can arise when microorganisms grown on AS-7 media are misidentified, highlighting issues such as incompatibility between different batches of AS-7 media. In addition, this species is a striking example of what consequences can occur if the development of microorganisms is considered without taking into account the specifics of the method indicating the incubation time, which, apparently, is important primarily for pathogenic microorganisms.

The fake photo was published with almost identical ad text, i.e. license numbers and incubation times were indicated (apparently 48 or 72 hours). We couldn't tell it was a fake with just this information. This ad was taken down by the owner of the site it was posted on and is more likely to be a lost page than a copy of the original ad. Our site reports a possible way to distinguish a real sample from a false one: We do not recommend that people compare the two samples and try to tell them apart without proper knowledge and experience. We suggest ordering samples from certified laboratories, of which there are quite a few in Russia and abroad. Or use the services of professional microbiologists who work with these microorganisms and will be able to distinguish a fake from a real sample.
