Azygography

Azygography (from the Greek azygos - unpaired and grapho - write, depict) is an x-ray method for studying the azygos vein (azygos vein).

The purpose of azygography is to study the anatomy and possible pathological changes of the azygos vein. The study is carried out by introducing a radiopaque substance into the azigos vein through a catheter and subsequent radiography.

The method allows you to identify abnormalities in the development of the vein of azygos, its narrowing or expansion, the presence of thrombosis, and also evaluate collateral circulation.

Azygography is most often used in cases of suspected pathology of the azygos vein, which may be caused by congenital anomalies, mediastinal tumors, or pulmonary embolism. Information obtained using azygography helps to make an accurate diagnosis and choose the optimal treatment tactics.

Azigography is a type of unconventional calligraphy using mirrored letters for writing. Azigraph fonts also include the use of “reflected” letters in logo design, as a simple visual solution used only to create a decorative (not informational) component of the text. It is used when writing texts inside symmetrical figures - mirrors, rhombuses, octahedra, squares and so on.

The writing technique is quite simple and depends on what spelling of the word/letter you want to create. Using this unusual way of writing, the symbols become a mirror image of ordinary signs. It's simple and fun. Mastering the technique is quite easy and interesting. This does not require any special skills or knowledge in the field of calligraphy. The only tools you need are paper, a pen and your desire.
