Bimanual

Bimanuality is a skill that helps a person use both hands at the same time and effectively combine the work of both hands with each other. The term comes from the Latin word manus, meaning "hand", and the word "bimanus", meaning two hands together.

There are several forms of bimanuality, depending on which part of the body we are trying to use when moving. For example, bimanual coordination may focus on footwork. Another form of bimanual coordination involves working with two objects or hands. Movement and stability of coordinated movements is improved by creating symmetrical coordination between the two hands, which engages the motor cortex of both hemispheres
