Biopsy Excisional

Excisional biopsy - removal of part of an organ or tissue. An incision is made under the skin along the line of the suspected tumor (usually 3–5 cm long) and, bending the skin in the form of a pterygium, the edges of the wound are pulled apart in different directions. Tumor excision is also performed using this method. Through an incision or by peeling off a flap, curettage is performed and everything is removed.
