Blepharospiasm “Symptomatic” (BS Symptomatic) is a strabismus that occurs due to improper functioning of the extraocular muscles. In other words, the problem of strabismus that some children experience during schooling is not given much attention and is often ignored by teachers and parents who think that it will easily correct itself. Although symptomatic headache requires treatment, it may include certain techniques to improve perception and reduce eye strain, thereby slowing the progression of chronic headaches. Displacement of the oculomotor system leads to disturbances in mental balance and, therefore, is accompanied by a decrease in intelligence, increased depression and the development of emotional and volitional disorders, up to a state of deep personal crisis.
This pattern of living can make people feel that this form of strabismus is a disease and that they are unable to fully enjoy their lives as it has a significant impact on their personality. However, there are now some treatments and exercises that can help improve gaze symmetry, as well as increase alertness and focus.
