Trophoblastic disease

Trophoblastic disease is a tumor that arises from special cells called trophoblastic cells. These cells are found in the human body and are important for its functioning. The disease develops when trophoblastic cells begin to grow and multiply out of control. This can lead to a number of problems including cancer, infertility and other complications.

The problem with this disease is that it often occurs secretly. Symptoms of the disease may not appear until several years after infection. Signs of the disease include abdominal pain, weakness and fatigue, weight loss and malaise, and blood changes (anemia), which is the most common symptom of this disease. Doctors are not always able to make a diagnosis quickly, since the symptoms of this disease can be similar to those of other diseases, although an accurate diagnosis is necessary to prescribe the correct treatment.

Typically, trophoblastic disease is treated with surgical removal of the tumor, chemotherapy, or a combination of both.
