Bursitis Radial brachial

Radial joint bursitis is a chronic inflammatory disease of the shoulder girdle. The disease often begins with injury to the ulnar and brachial plexuses and diseases of the musculoskeletal system. First, microtrauma or rupture of the endothelium occurs on the inner surface of the tendons in the area of the articular lip; pus from the wound penetrates into the bursa covering the neck of the radius, which is divided into separate spaces by fascia. In the space of the inflamed capillary, an infectious process develops, and then nonspecific exudation with subsequent formation of a scar (fistula opening) - bursae, in which new types of intra-articular inflammation are formed, chronic synovitis, progressing towards the fistula. Thus, chronic bursitis occurs, at first it does not manifest itself, then periodically in certain positions of the limb there is pain in the area of the shoulder joint, the tumor moves from one side to the other, some restriction of movement in the joint, a “roller” symptom, hemarthrosis, fistula with constant current purulent discharge. The bursa is emptied by puncture and administration of solutions of sulfa drugs and antibiotics, treatment is repeated. The scar remains, the arm is somewhat lengthened. Relapses of the disease 2-3 years after surgery may be associated with trauma to the damaged limb or wound infection.
