Amorphous carnosine: description, application, side effects
Amorphous carnosine is a substance used in medicine to treat diseases associated with metabolic disorders of corneal tissue. This drug is produced in Russia by the Samson-Med company and belongs to the pharmacological group of metabolism stimulants of various chemical groups.
Amorphous carnosine contains alanine and histidine. The drug is used for the treatment of ulcerative keratitis and keratopathies of various etiologies, which arise as a result of metabolic disorders in the tissues of the cornea.
The drug is contraindicated for use in case of individual intolerance. When using amorphous carnosine, a burning sensation may occur, but it goes away on its own without stopping the drug.
