Causes of cardiovascular diseases
Cardiovascular diseases are diseases of the heart and blood vessels, which are the main cause of death among the adult population of Ukraine. Cardiovascular diseases incl.
They expect angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, hypertension and stroke. They develop as cholesterol and other substances are deposited in the walls of the arteries. This condition, called atherosclerosis, causes the arteries to narrow.
The person providing care does not need to know the difference between angina and myocardial infarction, as the same signs and symptoms may be present and require the same measures. Below is a brief description of both classes.
