Cystitis Ulcerative

Ulcerative cystitis is an inflammatory disease of the bladder with the formation of foci of ulceration on the wall.

A bladder ulcer is a defect in the bladder mucosa that does not go away for more than a few weeks, which is typical for a stomach ulcer. In women, ulcerative cystitis is less common than in men, but it is characterized by a persistent course and a tendency to recur.
