Co-Trimoxazole-Teva, manufactured by Teva Pharmaceutical Enterprises Ltd. in Israel, is a combination antimicrobial drug used to treat various infections. It consists of two active ingredients - sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim.

Co-Trimoxazole-Teva belongs to the pharmacological group of combined antimicrobial agents. It is effective against a variety of pathogens, including bacteria, protozoa, and certain types of parasites.

This drug is available in several dosage forms, including tablets and oral suspension. The suspension contains 240 mg of sulfamethoxazole and 5 ml of trimethoprim.

Co-Trimoxazole-Teva is used to treat a wide range of infections of various systems and organs. It is effective for respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, urogenital infections, gastrointestinal infections, skin and soft tissue infections, as well as certain ENT and surgical infections. Its use is not recommended in case of hypersensitivity to sulfonamides or trimethoprim, in the presence of liver or kidney failure, agranulocytosis, leukopenia, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, as well as during pregnancy, breastfeeding and in children (depending on age).
