UHF currents - see Ultrahigh-frequency currents.
Ultra-high frequency currents (UHF currents) are electrical currents with an oscillating frequency from 300 MHz to 300 GHz. They are used in various fields such as radio communication, radar, heating and medicine.
The use of UHF currents in medicine is based on their ability to penetrate to a shallow depth into tissue and have a thermal, anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect. UHF therapy is widely used in the treatment of various diseases of the musculoskeletal system, such as arthritis, arthrosis, myositis.
