Composition: Active substance - Bismuth tripotassium dicitrate.

Indications for use: Peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, exacerbation of gastroduodenitis due to peptic ulcer, gastritis associated with Helicobacter pylori.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity, severe renal dysfunction, pregnancy, breastfeeding.

Side effects: Nausea, vomiting, increased bowel movements. Rarely - allergic reactions in the form of skin rash and itching.

Interaction: Reduces the absorption of tetracycline. Preparations containing bismuth (Vicalin, Vikair, Roter) increase the risk of developing systemic side effects (the concentration of bismuth in the blood increases).

Overdose: With frequent use of large doses, renal failure may develop. Treatment is gastric lavage, administration of activated charcoal and saline laxatives, symptomatic therapy.

Special instructions: Long-term use of large doses is not recommended. For 30 minutes before and after administration, you must refrain from drinks, solid foods, milk, and antacids. You should not drink alcohol during therapy. Colors stool black.
