Decamethoxin: description, application and side effects
Decamethoxin is an antiseptic used to treat purulent and fungal infections such as abscesses, purulent wounds, candidiasis, otitis, tonsillitis and others. It can also be used endobronchially to treat lung diseases. Decamethoxin is produced in Ukraine by the Vinnitsa Medical Institute and in Russia by GNIISKLS.
Decamethoxin belongs to the group of antiseptic detergents and is a solution containing the active substance decamethoxin. The dosage form of decamethoxin includes ear drops 0.05% and substance.
Decamethoxin is not recommended for use in case of hypersensitivity to its components. When administered endobronchially, decamethoxin can cause a burning sensation in the chest, as well as local allergic reactions. There is no data on the interaction of decamethoxin with other drugs.
