Dentinogenesis

Dentinogenesis is the process of formation of dental tissue - dentin - as a result of regeneration. Dentinogen is the first layer of the ectoderm of the embryo, from which the dental papilla is formed - the precursor of the future dental pulp, which in turn becomes the main organ producing dentin. Histological studies show that dentin formation processes are promoted by local stimuli such as non-invasive vibration and temperature changes, as well as biologically active compounds and specific environmental factors, thereby directing regeneration towards the development of dental tissue.
