Dermatomyosis

Dermatomyasis (from ancient Greek δέρμα - “skin”; μύελος - “muscle”, έρως - literally Greek eros “passion”) is a parasite that causes myiases - skin diseases associated with the penetration of pathogens into the skin. Myiasis is dangerous because it can occur in the form of African and European vermiform lipomyasis, for example, with the bite of certain types of ants and midges, diseases (scabies; scabies mite). Some dermatomycetes can also cause localized skin lesions (pythyriasis).
