Excementosis

**Excementosis** is a medical term that refers to the presence of cements or building materials in the lungs. This may occur due to injury or due to other lung diseases such as pneumonia, bronchitis or tuberculosis.

In most cases, excementosis appears after injury. When a person is hit in the chest, the lungs can become dents and cracks. If these injuries are not treated quickly enough, the body may begin to use cement or other building materials to close the holes in the lung tissue. These cements or building materials can then remain in the lung for many years or even decades without symptoms.

A person who has excremental masses in the lungs may notice the following symptoms: * fatigue and weakness; * shortness of breath; * frequent colds or coughs; * weight loss; * bloating; * chest pain; * rapid breathing. If you have any of these symptoms, be sure to consult your doctor.
