Emeran

Emeran is a direct-acting anticoagulant from the heparin group. Manufactured in Switzerland by Novartis. International name of the drug: heparinoid, it is also known as hirudoid and chiridoid.

Emeran is presented on the market in two forms: emulgel 1%.

The active substance of Emeran is heparinoids. These are natural anticoagulants that are obtained from leeches. Heparinoids dissolve in oil, forming an emulsion. They are effective for soft tissue bruises (tissues without bones and nerves), traumatic edema, hematomas, tendon sprains, phlebitis and thrombosis, varicose veins, as well as hemorrhoids.

Contraindications to the use of Emeran are hypersensitivity to its components, hemorrhage, disease or pathology that can lead to bleeding, ulcerative processes and local inflammation. Caution should also be exercised when used in pregnant women in the last three months to prevent bleeding.
