Emphysema corpse

Emphysema of cadaveric organs or "cadaveric emphysema" or "cadavric emphysema"

*Emphysema *cadaveric* lungs* is a pathological condition of the body in which air penetrates through the wall of its cavities.* This leads to an increase in the volume of lung tissue, as well as to disruption of its function as a result of compression and expansion of air vessels.** The development of emphysema is facilitated also stagnation of blood in the pulmonary vessels, hemosiderosis of the pulmonary tissue and other disorders of the pulmonary circulation.*** Damage to the lungs during pathological diagnosis is located mainly in the lower sections with a transition to the mediastinum. There is no fluid in the pleural cavities. The mucous membrane has no clearing. The lung does not stand out well against the background of surrounding tissues. The boundaries between the parenchyma and the collapsed superficial parts of the organ are not clearly defined.*
