Emprostotonus

Emprosthotonus (emprosthotonus; from the Greek emprosthotonos - “stretched forward”) is a pathological condition in which there is severe tension in the muscles of the back, neck and limbs, causing the body to arch forward.

Emprostotonus most often occurs with tetanus, tetanus, meningitis, encephalitis and some other diseases of the nervous system.
