Endometriosis (e) is a syndrome of pathological processes caused by an increase in the number of cells of the uterine mucosa in various areas of a woman’s body. Most often it is called chronic endometritis (h. endometriosis). In the classification of diseases in ICD-10, it is combined under the code N80.
Chronic inflammation of the endometrium (better known as endometriosis) affects about 20% of women. Endometritis mainly affects nulliparous girls with symptoms of puberty. It appears as follows:
•pain after sexual intercourse, bleeding;
•severe itching sensation
