Erba Disease

Erb's disease is a rare inherited neurological disorder in which brain cells die uncontrollably, leading to symptoms that include weakness, urinary incontinence and paralysis. This disease is characterized by damage to the medulla of retinal ganglion cells, which destroys the eye's ability to see and control body movements.

Erb's disease was first described in 1863 by Erb, who gave it its name. This German neurologist created a classification of brain disorders and described in detail the various symptoms of this disease. However, today this disease remains very rare and poorly understood, and its cause is still unknown.
