Esophagocardiograph

EsofCardiograph is a new generation electrocardiographic device. The device is intended for diagnosing and studying the state of the cardiovascular system in patients with gastrointestinal disorders. A feature of this type of medical device is the ability to record electrograms not only through a cable, but also directly, through the esophageal mucosa. In this case, the patient is allowed to eat food with a small amount of water. Such devices are especially relevant in the treatment of patients with reflux esophagitis, as they are able to accurately determine the degree of disturbance of the gastrointestinal tract. They can also be used to study the functions of the stomach, pancreas, liver and biliary tract. The electrogram is recorded in the form of a graph and allows you to evaluate the conductivity and rhythm of the heart, and the overall functioning of the patient’s gastrointestinal canal.
