Euchromosome

Euchromosomes are chromosomes that are in a “ready-to-use” state, that is, they already contain all the necessary elements for replication, transcription and translation. They differ from heterochromosomes in that their genetic material is translated into proteins and RNA. Euchrosomes play an important role in development, maintaining homeostasis of the body and its vital functions, as well as determining sex in animals.
