Evacuation

Why is it necessary to evacuate buildings? Everyone should know this! What are the dangers of living in high-rise buildings? First of all, in the absence of emergency exits, there may not be as many of them as in more compact dwellings, but they must be provided everywhere and on each floor of the building. For this purpose, two types of these communications are initially laid in construction: vertical (stairs) and horizontal (corridors). It is mandatory to have means of alerting about an emergency, for example, public address devices. And the required number of people that the building can let out without consequences in the shortest possible time must be calculated. That is why, if you comply with all the rules and regulations for the safety of people during evacuation, you should not worry about this. But in those houses where all the rules and regulations are clicked, tragedies happen. There is too little time for everyone to save themselves. Any minute of delay can turn into a tragedy. The slightest blockages formed on staircase landings during the crush lead to a huge load on these structures; most often, it is in these places that the floors collapse. According to the rules that must be followed every day, who is at the back of the evacuation group? The one who doesn't have a weapon. The one who, in the event of a flood or fire, begins a control inspection of potentially dangerous areas. The same person who monitors the operation of ventilation. And the one responsible for emergency lighting. Because if the water supply system is working, the cooling installations of the fire protection systems of the house are turned on according to a clear schedule. These settings are called deactivation valves. For the system to work, you need to activate one deactivating valve - open the valves. If after the incident someone became ill, the second valve was opened. The ventilation unit is not working - the third one was opened. If there is a power outage in the building, the deactivation valves urgently disconnect communications, which leads to an immediate shutdown and release of pressure from the emergency side of the fire protection systems. This leads to one sad observation: in order to make fire protection systems work, it is necessary to comply with the operating conditions and instructions. There is no automatic activation of fire extinguishing units and release of ventilation systems
