Folie a deux (from French - ''madness together'') is a neurological disorder manifested by behavior that is inappropriate to the situation and brings pain to others (or, conversely, gives positive emotions).
There are no tests to diagnose this disease. Therefore, the only way out is to rely on your own sense of instinct. It predominates so strongly in the area of epileptoidism that, at the slightest doubt, anyone present will be annoyed by the mistake. The exception is people for whom ethics is critical and any mistake causes extreme irritation. Their likelihood of false interpretation increases significantly. There is no feeling of emotional support from other people.
A person suffering from this mental disorder exhibits a painful desire to be rejected, which manifests itself in persistent fantasies about finding supporters among familiar people united by a common interest in this issue. Such patients can conduct active correspondence with them, communicating on the Internet, or even using a local dating forum.
