Hemoglobinuria Periodic

Hemoglobinuria is a condition when a person has a large amount of blood in their urine. This can happen due to various reasons, such as inflammatory kidney disease, the use of certain medications, or even kidney stones. Periodic hemoglobinuria is a syndrome characterized by the occurrence and repeated attacks of hemoglobinemia, accompanied by hematuria and their cyclic course with a sudden cessation of hemolysis of red blood cells in the spleen. Attacks are often caused by taking certain medications.
