Dosage forms - eye drops 0.5 mg/ml, nasal spray 0.5 mg/ml
Composition - Active ingredient - levocabastine.

Indications for use: Allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, exacerbation of hay fever in the form of rhinoconjunctival syndrome.

Contraindications - Hypersensitivity. Restrictions on use: pregnancy, children under 6 years of age (spray), up to 12 years of age (eye drops).

Side effects - Headache, fatigue, dizziness, drowsiness, pain, dryness and redness of the eyes, blurred vision, lacrimation, swelling of the eyelids, irritation of the conjunctiva; dyspnea, pharyngitis, cough, shortness of breath, feeling of dryness and nasal congestion, tingling or burning in the nose; nausea, myalgia; allergic reactions (urticaria, rash).

Overdose - Symptoms: accidental ingestion may cause sedation, dizziness, hypotension, tachycardia. Treatment: taking large amounts of fluid to speed up excretion by the kidneys.

Special instructions - Use nasal spray with caution in patients with impaired renal function. When using eye drops, wearing soft hydrophilic contact lenses is not recommended. Do not use the solution if its color changes. Safety and effectiveness in older adults over 65 years of age have not been established. Before using eye drops and spray, shake the bottle well.
