Gland

The gland (lignula) is one of the most important glands in humans. It is located in the neck and chest area and its main function is to produce hormones. The gland also plays an important role in the immune system as it produces antibodies to fight infections.

There are several types of glands, including lymphatic, secretory and exocrine. Lymph glands are found in the lymphatic system and produce lymph, which carries minerals and proteins throughout the body. Secretory glands secrete hormones that regulate many body functions, such as metabolism, growth and development, and reproduction. E-cells (exocrine glands) produce secretions to protect and defend against external factors. For example, salivary glands
