Glaucoma Malignant

Glaucoma is a group of diseases in which there is a disruption of the normal outflow of intraocular fluid (IOH) and an increase in ophthalmotonus (excessive tone). This pathology is typical for middle-aged and elderly people, over 45 years old, especially for people with diabetes. Glaucoma is associated with a significant decrease in quality of life, a sharp decrease in vision, disability, and the risk of sudden vision loss. In terms of mortality, glaucoma ranks first among all cardiovascular and ophthalmological pathologies.
