Gravitz tumor

Kidney cancer (also known as Gravica tumor) is a malignant tumor that develops in the kidneys. Kidney tumors are one of the most common malignancies in the world, occurring in one in every hundred men and two in every four hundred women. However, the mortality rate from kidney cancer has now decreased due to improvements in diagnosis, treatment and preventive measures, such as regular surveillance and vaccination against hepatitis and human papillomaviruses.

Kidney cancer is formed from the epithelial tissue that covers the bladder, renal parenchyma and tubules. The incidence of kidney cancer increases with age, and the risk of developing this disease increases with increasing age, especially after age fifty. Other known risk factors include smoking, diabetes, high blood pressure and a family history of kidney cancer.

Symptoms may include lower back pain, blood in the urine, fatigue, fever and weight changes. Early detection of kidney cancer is possible
