Grofibrate is a lipid-lowering drug from the group of fibrates used to treat hyperlipidemia.

- Interaction - potentiates the effect of anticoagulants, increases the hepatotoxicity of some drugs, reduces the effectiveness of oral contraceptives
- Special instructions - monitoring of liver function is necessary, long-term use in combination with diet and under medical supervision
Grofibrate is effective in lowering triglyceride and cholesterol levels in various forms of hyperlipidemia. However, regular monitoring of liver and kidney function is required during therapy.
