Hernia Professional

A hernia of professional origin (h.professionalis) is a disease that can occur in people engaged in certain sectors of activity associated with heavy physical labor. This pathology develops from strong pressure exerted on the chest and abdomen.

Occupational hernia is a fairly common disease of the musculoskeletal system, accounting for about two percent of affected athletes. However, it should be noted that when hernias occur, they are observed much more often than other occupational diseases.
