A reducible hernia is a defect of the paravesical fascia when the organ is located outside its anatomical position, but can be reduced without surgery. The diagnosis is established in the absence of changes in the processes of the rectus abdominis muscle, the width of the thinning of the pubic symphysis, the presence of inguinal nodes, making it impossible to palpate the internal organs through the anterior wall of the abdomen. The facial and pterygoid cranial nerves also appear to be intact. However, if hernia repair is delayed for a long period, an inguinal fistula develops. Reducible hernias have a high probability of recurrence.
