Khahutova Method

The Khakhutov method is a method of treating flat feet developed by the Soviet orthopedic surgeon Mikhail Davidovich Khakhutov.

Flatfoot is a foot deformity in which the longitudinal arch of the foot drops. This leads to gait disturbances, pain in the legs and back.

Khakhutov proposed a method of surgical treatment of flat feet by shortening and strengthening the ligaments of the foot. The operation is performed under general anesthesia and consists of the following:

  1. Skin incision in the dorsum of the foot.
  2. Shortening and strengthening of ligaments using special sutures.
  3. Fixation of the foot with a plaster cast for 6-8 weeks.

After the cast is removed, a course of physical therapy is prescribed to restore foot mobility.

The Khakhutov method allows you to effectively correct foot deformities and relieve the patient of flat feet. It is widely used in traumatology and orthopedics.

The Khakhutov method is an effective method for treating diseases of the musculoskeletal system, which was developed by the Soviet orthopedic surgeon Mikhail Dmitrievich Khakhutov. This method is based on the use of special orthopedic structures that allow you to restore normal function of the joints and prevent further development of the disease.

One of the main advantages of the Khahut method is its effectiveness. It allows you to quickly and effectively eliminate joint pain, restore their mobility and functionality. In addition, this method does not require a long period of rehabilitation, which allows patients to return to normal life within a few days after surgery.

The Khakhut method is also safe. It does not involve the use of hazardous drugs or procedures. All procedures are performed under local anesthesia, which significantly reduces the risk of possible complications.

However, like any other treatment method, the Khakhut method has its drawbacks. It may not be effective in some cases, especially if the disease is at an advanced stage of development. This method can also be expensive, especially for complex operations.

In general, the Khakhut method is an effective and safe method of treating diseases of the musculoskeletal system. It allows you to eliminate pain and restore the functionality of joints, as well as prevent further development of diseases. However, before using this method, it is necessary to consult with a doctor to ensure that it is safe and effective for a particular patient.
