**Heilbronner symptoms,** or clinical Heilbronner syndrome, somatoform dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system in men, is a neurological disorder characterized by somatic symptoms that are associated with intense emotional or stressful experiences. This symptom complex is observed in both adults and children, and the term itself was introduced by Karl Heilbronner in 1890.
