Hemiataxia

Hemiataxia is a disease characterized by impaired coordination of movements. One side of the body is affected first, usually on the left side. In this case, the patient has difficulty walking, as well as problems with balance and coordination of movements.

The reasons why hemiataxia can develop are very diverse. However, the most common are stroke, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis and others. Infections and head injuries can also be a cause.
