Hemisystole

Hemisystole is the mildest degree of tachyarrhythmia, when incomplete contractions of the ventricles are clearly visible on the ECG. In this case, the head of the atria and the intraventricular septum are almost not visualized. When performing Holter monitoring, in addition to supraventricular extrasystoles, a periodically disappearing ST segment may appear. For it, in contrast to previous rhythm disturbances, it is characterized by alternation with interpreted intermediate periods of sinus rhythm from several seconds to minutes, between which episodes are recorded that fully reflect myocardial contractions, half normal, then contracting ventricular muscles.

Hemisitolia is a condition in which the heart does not contract completely, but only in one of the ventricles, and more often in the left one. Jerky contraction rhythms and malfunctions of the heart node cause arrhythmia. Moreover, in 24 hours the rhythm can change from twice a minute to 20
